This stunning novel kept me engrossed. I'm no dino fanatic, but the descriptions put me right there in front of those reptile kings and queens.
The story itself swept me away by its unique and heart-felt characters. They put you in the every day concerns of dinosaurs, while altogether humanising them in an endearing way. It, ironically, speaks to my humanity in the nurturing and care, and bravery, these creatures show for each other in a very unique story.

Praise & Reviews

We are brought up to believe that murdering someone is the worst thing we could ever do, but is it? If a person beats their significant other, smothers their child in their sleep, or rapes and murders a pregnant young teenager; is it really the worst thing we can do for all of humanity to give that person a nudge towards the afterlife when the law seems to fall short? Of course the question remains, are any of us capable by ourselves of being the judge, jury and executioner? The Midwest Maniac befriends the very Investigator out to capture him. Using his drive to kill, he finds those that have escaped the law with their heinous actions and uses his own forms of punishment to bring them to justice.

Hooray for the killer?

Easy read, it sucked me in from the very beginning and I could hardly put it down. A good page-turner for sure! If you have read from this author yet, you should! Masterfully written, I found myself holding my breath in certain spots. Great read, I highly recommend it.

About Amber Danson

Amber Danson is an animal lover from the Appalachian Mountains and mother of three. A prolific writer of both thrillers and fantasy, she also dabbles in poetry inspired by nature or her struggle with bipolar disorder. When not writing, she is caring for her family, friends, and menagerie of pets.

Writing has always been her biggest passion in life. Starting from age twelve, she told herself bedtime stories to combat her insomnia and wrote them down when they became more vivid. Through trial and error, she taught herself how to craft a compelling story, always writing by her personal motto: Good better best, never let it rest, till your good is better and your better is best. She spends most of her free time writing.

Some of her favorite authors include Stephen King, Anne Bishop, Jane Lindskold, and Anne McCaffrey. As prolific a reader as she is a writer, Amber Danson will read nearly anything.
